YOU CAN UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE

You have a website that looks great, but something changes at your company, a member of staff leaves, a new product is released or you are moving office. How do you update your website so your customers and suppliers know? Usually you would phone the company that designed the website and they would make the changes for you when they have the time. You would be left with another bill for your website. This gets worse when you want a news page that changes regularly or you want to show events that you are involved with on your site and delete them when they are passed.

We solve this problem and save you money by giving you control of your website contents. This is often called content management because you manage the contents of your website. It is very simple to use, we give you a user name and password. When you want to change the contents of any page you log onto the DCL control panel using the user name and password. You can then edit the contents of your pages using Internet Explorer. Any changes you make show immediately.

Parts of the page you can edit:-

• The text/words on the page.
• Pictures, including position, size and uploading of new pictures.
• Downloadable files such as pdf, Word and Excel documents.
• News listings, and the dates they appear.
• Diary events including start and finish dates to show on your site.
